Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Luke McQuillan. I'm a 21 year old do it yourself kind of guy. My main passion is writing. For as long as I can remember I've been writing something, a song, or a story, or trying to come up with the next great idea. I write in a variety of mediums - music, drama, poetry, and prose. If I can make you laugh, or think, or move you in some way then I have done my job. My main goal is to entertain you! Here on this site, you can find information about my music, my plays, and more! Also, please visit my MySpace for dedicated information about my music. Visit Luke's MySpace! Thank you again for visiting and there will be more to come soon!
March 16th, 2008: Hello everyone! Long time, no see! As many of you may have figured out, I have been doing the majority of my updating on my MySpace account. Which can be reached by clicking here! But I have been far from silent the past couple of years. Since the last update, I wrote and produced two "Walk-Through-Haunted-House" musicals for the Imagine Foundation, called Haunted Adventures. Also, I have continued writing and recording new music (also found on my Myspace account) and I may put out an official second album this summer! I know, I know. I've been saying that forever. Haha. Just look below, almost 2 years ago I said it would happen that summer. But it's good that it didn't. This album will be far better than the one I would've made a couple of years ago. Anyway, I thank you all for continuing to visit my page. I'm flattered! In other news, I'm working on a new project in a completely new medium that combines all of my interests! I'm so excited about it and I can't wait to share it with all of you! More news will be coming soon! Thanks guys!
May 20th, 2006: Once again, I have completely redone the website. Pages have been renamed, pages have been deleted, and pages have been reorganized. Are you guys proud of my HTML skills? This was all coded by hand! Anyway, my second album is now offically titled, "Restoration". The album has been pushed back to the summer of 2006. My job and getting ready to return to college has delayed work on the album. Is this a bad thing? No, because while my second album has been delayed, my first full length musical was written and produced! Click on "PLAYWRIGHT" to learn more! Work has continued on the second album and I expect to have soundclips on the site by June. Thanks for sticking with me guys!
January 1st, 2006: Happy New Year! I am so excited about 2006! I think it's going to be a great year. Anyway, I did some more organization for the site. I combined the clips and album pages into one brand new page called simply enough, "Music". The page features expanded information about my debut album and a little more info about the upcoming second album. The clips are now built into the tracklist. Check it out!
December 29th, 2005: Today, I combined the "Welcome" and "News" page into one. I figured most people want to see the news on the first page anyway. So, here it is! I finally restocked Due Gatti Coffee House with my first album, so if you haven't picked it up yet - definately stop by. Speaking of Due Gatti, Thanks to everyone who has come out to my weekly Saturday gig there. We have a blast. I plan on continuing them for quite a while. Much thanks goes to Brian and Lisa Farmer for hosting me there. Thansk guys! I'll see you Saturday!
The new year will bring many exciting things. I am still working on my second album. The recording process has been slower than I thought it would be - but it is coming along. The new album and my first will be for sale at Due Gatti Cofffe House - but also ONLINE. Very soon, I plan to add an Online store page to the site. Stay tuned for more news soon! Thanks for your support as always!
December 17th, 2005: Hey everyone! Merry Christmas! This is just a quick update to let everyone know what's been going on. I am still recording the new CD, which as of now, is still without a title. I'm performing today (!) at Due Gatti for my usual Saturday show. Definately stop by. I plan to do some of my favorite Christmas carols as well as some of the new material from the next CD! Hope to see you there!
October 24th, 2005: A new entry to my "commentary" page has just been put up. It chronicles my trip through the Lincoln Library and Museum. Sound clips from the next CD should be up soon.
October 8th, 2005: The "Commentary" page was just put up. I'm pretty excited about it. I think it will be a great place for me to voice some opinions. The first entry on the page is about Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Definately go check it out!
The new album is coming along very well. I hope to have a sound clip or two up on the website within a few weeks. If you can't wait until then, come to my weekly gig at Due Gatti Coffee House (click on Concerts for more info). I might just play some new songs for you!
September 21st, 2005: The website is now up. I've totally overhauled every page - very little from the former website survived the transformation. You can expect some new sections to be added to the site, such as a Commentary page where I talk about current events and review music, very soon! Check back often.
September 19th, 2005: Change is in the air! As one can see, I'm revamping my website. I have changed the "About" page on the site to more fully explain why I'm here! Check it out.
Recording has begun on my second album. All of the songs are written and it is simply a matter or recording them. More news on that will soon be available. Check back often for more updates!
